Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Legs

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar (or brown sugar monkfruit if keto)
  • 1/2 tablespoon EACH chili powder and paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon EACH onion powder, garlic powder, and oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 pounds chicken legs approximately 6
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup BBQ Sauce*

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Combine the spices in a small bowl or jar, and mix well.
  • Add the drumsticks to a bowl and toss with olive oil and spices, coat well.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F for 3 minutes.
  • Add the coated drumsticks to the air fryer and lower the temperature to 380 degrees F cook the chicken for 10 minutes, flip, and cook for 3 more minutes.
  • Open the air fryer, brush the drumsticks with BBQ sauce, and air fry for 2-3 more minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
