Fruitcake with Mixed Fruits and Nuts
Ingredients
2 cups flour 

1 cup sugar 

1/2 cup butter, softened 

3 large eggs 





1/2 cup milk 

1 tsp vanilla extract 

1/2 tsp baking powder 

1/2 tsp baking soda 

1/4 tsp salt 

1 cup mixed dried fruits (raisins, candied cherries
, candied pineapple
)


1/2 cup mixed nuts (pine nuts
, almonds, walnuts)

Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
. Grease and line an 8-inch round cake pan
.


In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar until fluffy
.

Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition
.

Mix in vanilla
.

In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
.

Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk
, until well combined.

Fold in the dried fruits and nuts 
.


Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top
.

Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
.

Cool completely before serving
